St. Catherine of Alexandria joins Halton Food for Thought Family

At the end of the 2022/23 school year St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic elementary school in Halton Hills joined the growing Halton Food for Thought family. We are happy to celebrate the program is now in full operation for the 2023/24 school year!

The Principal of the Day, a student at the school, helped to supervise the launch of the Healthy Food Bin Plus program at the school. This student was instrumental in overseeing the organization and filling of the bins to ensure students had access to healthy snacks.

We are looking forward to this program’s impact at the school and are happy these students have joined over 92,000 other Halton students with access to a Student Nutrition Program. Congratulations to St. Catherine of Alexandria for this achievement and a special shout out to the Principal of the Day for all your hard work!

If you are interested in supporting our programs, there are many ways to do so from volunteering to donating to ensure the sustainability and strength of HFFT Student Nutrition Programs across Halton Region.
